Both mainstays of rally gaming on PS1 continued into the new millennium as Colin McRae Rally 2.0 released on PS1 in 2000 and V-Rally 3 released on PS2 in 2002 for what was sadly the final game in the V-Rally series.

WRC 7 is similar to most driving games, but it differs because it pays so much attention to detail. The makers have tried hard to make the game realistic without excluding new and novice players. You may drive against the computer, against players locally, or against players online.
